7 words or less
Angry girl owns love interest. Also magic.A few more words
This is a longer running sword & sorcery series, not long running in the never ending soap opera style of bleach or naruto or other franchises that are milked to death, but long running as in 4 seasons:
Which is why I'll use more words. But only slightly more.
Every wizard and/or witch should have a familiar. It only makes sense, spell casters don't wash their own clothes or carry their own stuff, or change their own underwear. If you're a particularly bad spell caster your spells often don't work as intended if at all. Enter Louise, flat chested pink haired wizard failure tsundere. When she tries to get a familiar it obviously ends up being a human guy from our world. Hilarity ensues.
As the series progresses more and more breasts appear, to the point where you can barely see the story hidden away underneath. There is obviously a beach episode.
- Zero no Tsukaima
- Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi
- Zero no Tsukaima: Princesses no Rondo

Forgetability
The main story involves some form of war or another, nothing that stands out in a remarkable fashion. That can't be said about the partial nudity of which there is a lot of. Every female character except two, which surprisingly enough have love interests of their own, are ready to throw themselves at Saito(the male lead). He obviously has no problem whatsoever with that happening. Louise on the other hand is quick to dispatch ultraviolence.
There is something to be said about the relationship between Saito and Louise though, but I'm not sure what. There are some genuine moments in the series, but they are quickly butchered by slapstick. This makes it hard to determine whether the emotional development of the characters is intentional, wishful thinking on my part, or something that slipped its way in past the story writers.
Though the endless stream of tsundere abuse there's the occasional sliver of warmth that's either there because the characters are horribly inept at expressing themselves, which often is the case with chronically insecure people, or as subtle hint to Stockholm syndrome.

World
The world is somewhat interesting. Magic users are nobility, everybody else gets walked on like the filth they are. Wizardry is institutionalised, presumably to make sure no rogue wild-magic casters show up and ruin the party for everyone else. The occasional artifacts from our world make their way over, but any cultural influences that may have taken place throughout history as a direct result of that are generally ignored.
TL;DR: Should I watch it?
Not really - unless you feel like ultraviolence based humor.
